<p><strong>Your unique opportunity</strong></p> <p>We're looking for an&nbsp;<strong>Inclusion Coordinator</strong> to champion and implement initiatives that ensure a diverse, equitable, and supportive learning and community environment for all students.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>This position is responsible for coordinating support for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, empowering teachers to differentiate effectively, and fostering a collaborative approach to student support.&nbsp;</p> <p>Commencing on&nbsp;<strong>16 January 2026</strong>, this position is full-time.</p> <p>Relocation assistance is available.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential qualifications and requirements</strong></p> <ol> <li>Relevant teaching qualifications.&nbsp;</li> <li>Current Teacher Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.</li> <li>Appropriate educational qualifications specific to the role.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability and experience in teaching in the area of learning support.&nbsp;</li> <li>A sound understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage staff relationships in a manner that enhances productive working relationships and outcomes.</li> <li>High level of interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate a Christian worldview.</li> <li>Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.</li> <li>Able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.</li> <li>Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.</li> <li>Able to work with all members of the College community.</li> <li> <p>Be legally permitted to work in Australia.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></li> </ol> <p><strong>Why Join Our Community?</strong></p> <p>Located in beautiful Cairns, our school offers a tropical lifestyle and a close-knit community.
