The College invites applications from experienced and compassionate candidates for the position of Sports Master of our Regis Campus.
The Regis Sports Master will also teach Stage 3 PDHPE and is responsible for organising inter-school competitions, maintaining sports equipment and facilities, and encouraging participation across all ability levels.
<p>Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview (the College) is a Catholic, Jesuit boarding school for boys from Year 5 to Year 12. Situated on the beautiful Lane Cove River in Sydney NSW, it has an enrolment of over 1600 students. The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit schools and universities. </p>

<p>The position plays a key role in promoting physical education, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among students at the Regis campus. This position involves planning, coordinating, and delivering a high-quality physical education program that fosters skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment of sport.</p>
<p>The Regis Sports Master will also teach Stage 3 PDHPE and is responsible for organising inter-school competitions, maintaining sports equipment and facilities, and encouraging participation across all ability levels.</p>
<p>The position is full-time ongoing, starting 20 January 2026, and the successful candidate will be required to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.</p>
<p><strong>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<p>The successful applicant needs to have the ability to teach the following courses:</p>

<p>The successful applicant will:</p>

<li>hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW</li>
<li>be an outstanding classroom teacher of PDHPE across Stage 3.</li>
<li>demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team</li>
<li>demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College</li>
<li>be willing to contribute to the Co-curriculum Programs at the College</li>
<li>hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people</li>
