<p>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated <strong>Learner Diversity Aide</strong> to a support students with diverse learning and physical needs. Working under the direction of classroom teachers and the Learner Diversity Team you will play a key role in helping a male student participate fully in school life. Your work will involve both learning assistance in the classroom and personal care support as required.</p>
<p>This is a permanent, part-time opportunity working 60.5 hours per fortnight commencing Term 1 2026.<br>

<p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p>
<p>The Learner Diversity Aide provides targeted support under the direction of the classroom teacher to promote student participation, independence, and access to curriculum. In particular, the Leader Diversity Aide will be expected to meet the following criteria:</p>
<p><strong>Physical and health support duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Toileting, washing and dressing students</li>
<li>Undertaking Health Care Procedures as defined by the Enterprise Agreement</li>
<li>Feeding support, including enteral feeding</li>
<li>Mobility assistance (e.g. use of hoists, wheelchairs, or standing frames)</li>
<li>Applying first aid</li>
<li>Providing emergency care as per a student's Health Care Plan </li>
</ul>
<p>Additional criteria</p>
<ul>
<li>Be highly effective, skilled administration services/support officer with experience in a busy dynamic office environment </li>
<li>Possess high level interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, student, parents/carers and community members </li>
<li>Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills </li>
<li>Be task focused with attention to detail and flexibility regarding duties </li>
<li>Be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community </li>
