<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>St Mary MacKillop College is seeking a highly effective and passionate Religious Studies teacher to join our staff. This position may suit educators experienced in teaching students in Years 11 and 12, or willing to transition into this area. The successful applicant will create a safe and supportive learning environment, apply engaging pedagogical practices, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. They will foster respectful relationships, analyse student data to enhance learning growth, and contribute to an inclusive school culture. Strong literacy, organisation, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching</li>
<li>Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance</li>
<li>Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration</li>
</ul>
<p><u>To teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic school, you must:</u></p>
<ul>
<li>Be a practicing Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community</li>
<li>Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience</li>
<li><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/832/ClientPublicFile/526f4f4d-e4cc-4d5e-9228-e0437a315617.docx">Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest</a>;</li>
<li>Have completed or are due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy. </li>
