St Brendan’s Primary School in Ganmain are looking for a suitably are looking for a suitably qualified Kinder Transition Teacher to commence February 2026.

<p>As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Criteria </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Recent experience in delivering a quality Transition To Kindergarten Program.An understanding of and commitment to the mission and ethos of a Catholic school, promoting a positive, supportive, and faith-filled learning environment</li>
<li>Appropriate qualifications i.e. Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood or Primary</li>
<li>Early Childhood Expertise</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in early childhood learning and development</li>
<li>Curriculum Knowledge: Deep understanding and ability to implement the relevant Early Years Learning Framework and the NSW Kindergarten curriculum</li>
<li>Transition Planning: Proven ability to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive and effective transition program that supports both children and families</li>
<li>Diverse Learning: Skill in identifying and planning for children with diverse learning needs, collaborating with allied health professionals and learner diversity staff to ensure inclusive transition</li>
<li>Is able to develop a positive learning environment using effective classroom management strategies that enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes</li>
<li>Shows flexibility, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community </li>
<li>NSW Working with Children Check</li>
<li>NSW NESA Accreditation</li>
<li>Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aCbIP5U7RUVpmXSRFNJjPniiJAxX9Kc7W7RNmEFGV8s/edit?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow">Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools</a>, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience teaching S.T.E.A.M., especially Creative Arts.</li>
