<p>Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with co-educational Pre-Prep offering. <p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for an <strong>experienced</strong>, highly <strong>adaptable</strong>, <strong>nurturing</strong>, and <strong>passionate</strong> Teacher Aide – Learning Development to join our well-established Learning Development Team working with students across Years 7 – 12.</p>
<p><strong>This position will commence on Tuesday 20 January 2026 on a permanent, full-time, term-time basis </strong><i>(this is the commencement of the 2026 staff professional learning week at Somerville House). </i></p>
<p>Within this role, you will have knowledge and understanding of literacy and numeracy across the Australian Curriculum, ensuring that learning is hands on, enriching and developmental for all needs. With a passion for education and understanding the needs of girls you will provide quality one-on-one and group learning experiences, across Years 7 – 12 s including those girls who have EAL/D or require additional support. </p>
<p><i>It is a mandatory requirement to hold a Certificate III (or higher) in Educational Support and a current paid blue card (working with children check). </i></p>
