We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team, who embraces the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement, and is committed to excellence, fostering curiosity, growth, and a love of learning in every child.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and implement high-quality learning programs.</li> <li>Deliver evidence-informed, differentiated teaching that meets the needs of all learners leveraging frameworks such as MTSS to provide targeted support where needed.</li> <li>Understand each child as a learner and adapt instruction to maximise engagement and outcomes.</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.</li> <li>Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives that align with our Catholic identity and the strategic direction of MACS.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong command of instructional strategies and explicit teaching methods.</li> <li>Proven ability to implement differentiated instruction leading to measurable student growth.</li> <li>Highly organised, collaborative, and reflective practitioner.</li> <li>Commitment to curriculum excellence and maximising student engagement through predictable routines and a well-structured classroom.</li> <li>A demonstrated commitment to Child Safety and wellbeing.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent.</li> <li>Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).</li> <li>Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Commitment to Child Safety</strong></p> <p>Holy Cross Primary School and Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools are committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children.
