An opportunity has arisen within the College for an experienced and strategic leader to
oversee the Information Technology services. The Director of IT will ensure the effective,
secure, and innovative delivery of technology systems and services that support the College’s
teaching, learning, and operational objectives.

An opportunity has arisen within the College for an experienced and strategic leader to<br>
oversee the Information Technology services. The Director of IT will ensure the effective,<br>
secure, and innovative delivery of technology systems and services that support the College’s<br>
teaching, learning, and operational objectives. This role will play a key part in shaping the<br>
College’s digital strategy and driving continual improvement across all areas of technology.</p>
<p><br><strong>About the role</strong><br>
The role is responsible for the strategic management and delivery of the College’s Information<br>
Technology services, in alignment with the mission statement and strategic plan. The Director<br>
of IT will focus on ensuring the reliability, security, and effectiveness of IT systems, managing<br>
infrastructure and digital resources, and providing strategic advice and support to senior<br>
leaders and operational staff across the College.</p>

• Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate organisational goals into effective<br>
technology solutions.<br>
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity,<br>
applications, database development, and emerging technologies.<br>
• Experience driving digital transformation projects and innovation initiatives.<br>
• Strong project management skills, including managing budgets, vendor relationships,<br>
and technology implementation projects.<br>
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical<br>
and non-technical stakeholders.<br>
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with data-driven decision-making skills.<br>
• Adaptability, organisational skills, and a commit</p>
<p><br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</strong><br>
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software<br>
Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years’ senior IT leadership<br>
experience in complex organisations.<br>
• Proven success in developing and implementing IT strategies, leading digital<br>
transformation initiatives, and driving technological innovation.<br>
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity,<br>
applications and database development, and emerging technologies.<br>
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, technology projects, and<br>
applying project management principles to deliver effective solutions.</p>
