<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>

As the <strong>Executive Assistant</strong>, you’ll be at the heart of our organisation - providing vital, confidential support to the <strong>Principal and Deputy Principal</strong>. This is a key role for someone who brings exceptional professionalism, sound judgement, and integrity to every task. You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our executive office, making a real impact every day.</p>
<p><strong>About the contract</strong></p>
<p>This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week), with the flexibility to work either year-round or on a term-time basis (45 weeks per year), depending on the successful applicant’s preference.</p>
<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this role you will need:</p>
<ul>
<li>Valid working rights within Australia.</li>
<li>Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.</li>
<li>Possess a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card for paid employees before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by Queensland Government.</li>
<li>Qualifications in Business Administration (desirable).</li>
<li>Extensive experience delivering high level administrative support as an Executive Assistant within a large organisation. (Experience in school of educational setting is desirable).</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible, embrace and adapt to change and be responsive to the needs of the Principal and other members of the College Leadership Team and the college community.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact positively with a wide range of stakeholders including students, staff, and the wider community.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and ability to develop solutions to problems.</li>
<li>Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, and the ability to use initiative and work autonomously to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Information Technology Systems and the Microsoft Suite of applications (eg: Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Sharepoint and One Drive). (Experience with TASS is desirable).</li>
<li>Proven ability to model the highest standard of ethical and professional behaviour and act with integrity and confidentiality.</li>
<li>Willingness to work outside of normal rostered hours if required.</li>
</ul>
