Arndell Anglican College seeks a passionate Science Teacher (Term 1, 2026) to teach Stages 4–6 in a Christ-centred, well-resourced, and supportive community that values innovation and professional growth.

<p>Arndell Anglican College is a vibrant, P-12 Christ-centred learning community, through which Jesus is made known.&nbsp; The College prides itself on our high-quality pastoral care, academic development, and Christian programs.&nbsp; For our staff this means that we are driven by a passion to know who we are as a community and to do what we do well.</p> <p>Situated on 30 acres between Rouse Hill and Windsor, Arndell caters for a growing population of almost 1300 students – with over 500 in Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and just under 800 in Secondary School (Years 7 to 12).&nbsp; Students are encouraged to grow in their individual abilities and interests within a learning environment that promotes optimism, respect, and ownership.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Invitation</strong></p> <p>Arndell Anglican College invites applications for the position of Science Teacher, commencing Term 1, 2026.</p> <p>The Science Teacher is responsible for fostering student learning and development, nurturing creativity and academic excellence, and inspiring a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for the Sciences.</p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Science, the successful applicant will deliver engaging, hands-on, and innovative Science programs that develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific literacy across Stages 4–6. The Science Teacher will also actively contribute to the broader life of the College, including co-curricular programs, pastoral care, excursions, and College camps.</p> <p>In particular, the Science Teacher will:</p> <ul> <li>Teach across Science disciplines using contemporary pedagogical practices that engage and challenge students.</li> <li>Design and deliver lessons that incorporate inquiry-based learning, experimentation, and practical investigation.</li> <li>Provide clear, fair, and constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.</li> <li>Integrate technology and real-world scientific contexts to enhance learning.</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary and cross-curricular opportunities.</li> <li>Actively contribute to the Christian and community life of the College.</li> </ul> <p>A full position description and specific responsibilities for this role are available on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.arndell.nsw.edu.au/documents/293/Science_Teacher_v271025.pdf" rel="nofollow">College website.</a></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>As a Science Teacher, you hold tertiary qualifications in Education and are accredited (or eligible for accreditation) with NESA. You have qualifications to teach across Stages 4–6 and have a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to explore and understand the world through Science.</p> <p>You are collaborative, innovative, and committed to best practice in teaching and learning.
