A Co-educational Catholic College serving the Campbelltown / Liverpool area with an enrolment of approximately 1142 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Mount Carmel Catholic College, Varroville</p> <p>A temporary full time position commencing 27 January 2026 until 17 December 2026.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be required to work with the Diverse Learning Faculty.&nbsp; The role of a Diverse Learning Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s).</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>An ability to create an engaging, educational and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students.</li> <li>An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning.</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li> <li>Have Special education qualification and/or experience teaching in a specialised setting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment&nbsp; with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p><strong>Closing Date: 7 November 2025 at 9am&nbsp;</strong></p>
