St Spyridon College is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and motivated professional to join our Learning Enhancement Team, supporting students. The successful candidate will assist students with diverse learning needs, helping them engage meaningfully in their education and realise their full potential.

You will work collaboratively with teachers to deliver targeted learning strategies that empower students to succeed both academically and personally. For the right person this position is ongoing.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide targeted learning support to students individually and in small groups to enhance engagement and achievement.</li> <li>Assist students with additional or high support needs across academic, social, and life skill areas.</li> <li>Facilitate smooth transitions and encourage inclusion within the broader school environment.</li> <li>Implement and monitor learning adjustments tailored to individual needs.</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.</li> <li>Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of College or their delegate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Specialist qualification in Special Education, candidates holding a&nbsp;Certificate III or IV in School-Based Education Support (or equivalent qualification) will be considered.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and emotional intelligence.</li> <li>Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.</li> <li>Understanding of learning adjustments, assessment provisions, and inclusive classroom practices.</li> <li>A current NSW Working with Children Check and completion of Child Protection training.</li> <li>Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).</li> <li>A commitment to supporting the College’s Orthodox Christian ethos and values.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p> <p>This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives within a collaborative and supportive school community.
