Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the 0.4 FTE position Religious Education Leader. A teaching component can be incoporated if the applicant is looking for a higher FTE. This is an ongoing appointment to the school with a two-year appointment as Religious Education Leader within the school's Position of Leadership cycle.

<p>St Mary's is a school of approximately 260 students 40km north of Melbourne. An understanding of and ability to use high impact teaching stategies and evidence based learning practice will be seen as an advantage<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>St Mary's is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of the children in our care.&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants require:</p> <ul> <li>A commitment to Catholic education and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education</li> <li>Evidence of working towards or have academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education. A Masters in Religious Education or Educational Leadership will be seen as an advantage</li> <li>Relevant experience within the last five (5) years in Catholic parish primary schools, or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools</li> <li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education</li> <li>An ability to work with a dedicated team to plan for teaching and learning</li> <li>Effective interpersonal and organisational skills</li> <li>A commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of children</li> <li>Current VIT registration.</li> </ul>
