Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music teacher to join our Music team in 2026.

<p>The College is seeking to employ a suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic Classroom Music teacher to work within a team to deliver a Kodaly based program to students across the P-12 program in 2026. This is a full-time permanent position.</p> <p>For the right candidate, there is scope to tailor the role to align with individual strengths and interests. In addition to classroom teaching, the position may incorporate involvement in the College’s highly-regarded co-curricular and music tuition programs. Advanced piano skills, as well as experience in accompaniment and/or choral direction, is advantageous.</p> <p>At Redeemer we are committed to providing our students with learning that is personalised and student-focused. Through our approach to excellence in teaching and learning, our extensive co-curricular offerings and our heart for community service, we seek to support students to achieve their personal best.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning practice, having experience in the development and implementation of Kodaly methodology within a Junior School setting;</li> <li>Demonstrate an understanding of the 2025 Music (General senior syllabus), having experience in implementing the previous 2019 version;</li> <li>Display a genuine commitment to professional and personal growth and development;</li> <li>A keen interest in contributing to the College’s extensive and highly-regarded co-curricular program;</li> <li>Have a strong working knowledge in areas of pedagogy; curriculum, innovation, assessment and the use of ICT;</li> <li>Work cooperatively with teachers, parents and other members of the Redeemer community;</li> <li>Be an innovator and advocate for contemporary learning;</li> <li>Provide excellent pastoral care to students;</li> <li>Display a willingness to contribute to a diverse and inclusive community;</li> <li>Accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian ethos of the College.</li> </ul>
