We empower students to discover their passions and reach their full potential through a diverse curriculum and opportunities for leadership and service and providing a child safe environment.</p> <p>We are seeking a passionate and innovative <strong>HSIE teacher with a strong focus on Business Studies</strong>&nbsp;to join our Secondary School team from Term 1, 2026 on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering a rigorous academic program and fostering a culture of high achievement.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons that inspire student interest and achievement.</li> <li>Contribute to the academic strength and collaborative culture of the HSIE faculty.</li> <li>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.</li> <li>Integrate relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning.</li> <li>Use student performance data to inform and refine teaching practices.</li> <li>Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and wellbeing.</li> <li>Participate fully in the life of the College, including co-curricular activities and occasional Saturday sport.</li> <li>Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of College or delegate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated expertise in teaching Business Studies, with capacity to teach other HSIE subjects.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to student success.</li> <li>High emotional intelligence and a positive, professional approach.</li> <li>High expectations for student learning and behaviour.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.</li> <li>Willingness to support the Orthodox ethos and values of the College.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful applicant will be required to hold:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant tertiary qualification.</li> <li>A current and valid work rights in Australia.</li> <li>A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)&nbsp;</li> <li>eTAMS teacher accreditation&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary.</li> <li>Additional leave for Greek Orthodox holidays.</li> <li>Supportive, purpose-driven work environment.</li> <li>Access to an Employee Assistance and Wellbeing Program.</li> </ul> <p><br> &nbsp;</p>
