A fantastic opportunity is available for a Permanent Full-Time Canteen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our school canteen.<br>
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, a warm and professional approach, and the ability to lead a small team with confidence and care.<br><br>
The Canteen Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the school canteen, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, WHS legislation, and school policies.<br>
The role involves preparing and serving food, managing stock and volunteers, and creating a welcoming environment for students and staff.<br><br>
Key Skills & Experience:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in food preparation and service</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Excellent customer service, especially with children</li>
<li>Ability to operate a small food business</li>
<li>Skilled in supervising a team and showing initiative</li>
<li>Effective time management and operational control</li>
<li>Experience working with volunteers and parent groups</li>
<li>Basic financial management knowledge</li>
<li>Understanding of WHS and legislative compliance</li>
<li>Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures</li>
