<p>Ignatius Park College, a vibrant all-boys secondary school in Townsville, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Japanese teacher to join our teaching staff in 2026. This position is available in either a full-time or part-time capacity, offering flexibility for the right candidate. <p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this role you will need:</p>
<ul>
<li>Valid working rights within Australia.</li>
<li>Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.</li>
<li>Appropriate Tertiary qualifications in Education and a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.</li>
<li>Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education) or willingness to achieve.</li>
<li>Proven experience working in an educational setting with an understanding of the ethos of Catholic Education.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of school operations and relevant policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills when dealing with multiple stakeholders, including students, staff, parents and the wider college community.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and use initiative and self direction where required.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills.</li>
<li>Intermediate computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft office products as well as school database management systems.</li>
