<p>Aranda Primary School opened in 1969 and is situated within the Belconnen network, with an enrolment of approximately 600 students. The school promotes a community of learners, working together to deliver an education that challenges all students to reach their full potential. Every student is provided with a quality education, where they learn both academic and social skills to become well rounded individuals prepared for life outside of school. Through a wide variety of engaging learning experiences, young people are taught to be critical thinkers, who are self-confident and able to contribute to society. The Australian Curriculum is delivered by a dedicated teaching team who are committed to an evidence-based approach to student growth. Staff focus on the needs of each student and work together to deliver consistent, evidence-informed teaching practices and use data thoughtfully to support every student’s progress.</p>

<p><strong>Eligibility/Other Requirements:</strong></p>

<li>Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the <i>Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011</i> is required.
