Student Coach (Teacher Aide)
<p>Living Faith Lutheran Primary School is seeking passionate and enthusiastic student coaches (teacher aides) to join its team in 2026. This is a term-time position for the 2026 school year, with the possibility of ongoing employment in 2027.</p>
<p>The student coach works in collaboration with class and specialist teachers. The student coach is assigned to support specific teachers, classes and students according to the needs of the school and, where possible, in line with the individual’s strengths, interests and need for challenge.</p>
<p>At Living Faith, staff relate to students, parents, and colleagues in ways that reflect and uphold the Christian ethos of our school. By modelling conduct and a lifestyle grounded in God’s love, staff actively support and nurture this ethos.</p>

<p>The Living Faith Lutheran Primary School Student Coach will possess:</p>
<ul>
<li>A love for children.</li>
<li>Knowledge and skills pertaining to child development.</li>
<li>A warm and inviting disposition, together with a servant heart.</li>
<li>A high level of emotional intelligence, together with a growth mindset.</li>
<li>Clear and strong communication skills with both children and adults alike.</li>
<li>Skills in collegial teamwork and collaboration.</li>
<li>Strong administrative skills, ICT proficiency and attention to detail.</li>
<li>An aptitude for discretion and confidentiality.</li>
<li>A current Paid Blue Card.</li>
<li>Up to date First Aid qualifications or is prepared to undertake the necessary training.</li>
<li>Is trained in Valuing Safe Communities or is prepared to undertake the necessary training.</li>
<li>Is prepared to undertake Child Protection training on an annual basis.</li>
<li>A minimum of Certificate III in Education Support.</li>
<li>Passion, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.</li>
</ul>
