<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>When students and staff feel safe, valued and included, their sense of belonging grows — positively impacting wellbeing, motivation and overall school success.</p>
<p>As <strong>Education Officer: Wellbeing</strong>, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with schools to implement strategic system-wide initiatives and policies that enhance student wellbeing.</li>
<li>Support the delivery of the <i>Student Agency – Schools that Listen</i> Project.</li>
<li>Build the capacity of educators and leaders to foster positive, inclusive and respectful learning communities.</li>
<li>Engage with school improvement processes to develop data-informed wellbeing practices.</li>
<li>Design and deliver high-impact professional learning to school leaders and Student Wellbeing Networks.</li>
<li>Collaborate with government departments, community organisations and agencies to optimise support for children, young people and their families.</li>
<li>Stay abreast of research, legislation, statutory requirements and Church teachings relevant to student wellbeing.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are an educator who is committed to the Catholic ethos and has a genuine passion for supporting student wellbeing. You bring both expertise and empathy, and you thrive in collaborative, networked environments.</p>
<p>You will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to Catholic identity, mission and values.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in evidence-based teaching and learning approaches that enhance student wellbeing.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (e.g. School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support).</li>
<li>Ability to build educator and leader capability in student wellbeing and child safety.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing and implementing complex projects.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualification in Education (required).</li>
<li>Relevant academic qualifications in a related discipline (e.g. psychology, social work, counselling, occupational therapy, psychiatric nursing).</li>
<li>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</li>
<li>Current Victorian driver’s licence.</li>
</ul>
