<p>We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated classroom teacher to join our committed staff from Term 1, 2026.</p> <p>The successful applicant will:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>liaise with the Principal &amp; Learning and Teaching&nbsp; Leaders in matters pertaining to new ideas and development of the Mathematics Curriculum</li> <li>support the implementation and effectiveness of the school’s Explicit Direct Instruction pedagogical approach&nbsp;</li> <li>work with staff to plan for strategic improvement in Mathematics and build on existing good practice</li> <li>provide support to classroom teachers at the planning, assessment and implementation levels, refining Mathematics activities to ensure students needs are being met through the use of assessment data</li> <li>implement and monitor programs for mathematically vulnerable students&nbsp;</li> <li>model effective teaching strategies for staff&nbsp;</li> <li>work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships</li> <li>use data effectively to respond to the needs of the children</li> <li>have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities</li> <li>be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school</li> <li>be committed to ongoing professional learning</li> <li>have an understanding, knowledge and commitment to MACS Vision for Instruction and Engagement. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies</li> <li>current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration</li> <li>include the contact details of 3 referees with current principal as one of the referees</li> <li>have an understanding that our school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</li> <li>evidence of personal identity and professional qualifications</li> </ul>
