We are inviting applications for a Full-Time Director of Student Opportunities / Co-Curricular (ELC-12), commencing Term 1 2026.

<p>Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.</p> <p>We are inviting applications for a <strong>Director of Student Opportunities / Co-Curricular (ELC-12), commencing Term 1 2026.</strong> Reporting to the Head of Senior School and collaborating with other members of the School Executive to drive and promote whole-school strategic initiatives, the role is responsible for the effective management of the KRB IGNITE Co-curricular Program, which provides a range of opportunities for students to challenge themselves outside the classroom, try new things and pursue excellence.</p> <p><strong>The role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Commences mid-January 2026</li> <li>0.8 Leadership / 0.2 Teaching split</li> <li>Attracts a Level 4 Leadership Allowance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and drive the KRB IGNITE Co-curricular Program, to ensure it meets the current and future needs of the School, always improving what the School offers &nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure that offerings are broad, innovative, flexible, and suitable for the School</li> <li>Set up and maintain structures and processes to ensure that communications with parents, students, and other stakeholders are comprehensive and timely</li> <li>Work with the program owners to ensure the offerings/services are holistic and modern &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with the Director of Corporate Services to ensure that the programs remain financially sound</li> <li>Oversee external contracts and relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that arrangements align with the School’s regulations and operations</li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Accredited with NESA to teach in NSW, and have previous teaching experience&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded &nbsp;</li> <li>Extensive experience and success in a similar leadership role&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing school-wide key programs</li> <li>Expert communicator across a variety of platforms&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability in maintaining foundations, whilst implementing complex best practice change&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Passion for and commitment to academic excellence&nbsp;through balance</li> <li>Demonstrate exemplary teaching practice that makes effective and innovative use of learning technologies&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Advanced digital technology skills, including proficiency across all standard platforms</li> <li>Current Working With Children Check&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to model the five goals of Sacred Heart Education in interactions with students, staff, and parents.</li> </ul> <p>As <strong>Sacred Heart Educators,</strong> we are:</p> <ul> <li>Committed to the Sacred Heart Charism&nbsp;</li> <li>Optimistic, relational individuals who act with integrity and share their love of learning&nbsp;</li> <li>Reflective practitioners who strive for professional excellence&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>As Sacred Heart Educators, this is our commitment to our students and colleagues within our KRB community.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Amongst other employee benefits, Kincoppal – Rose Bay School offers:</strong></p> <ul> <li>competitive rates of pay that are above MEA rates&nbsp;</li> <li>17.5% leave loading</li> <li>a free staff shuttle service to and from&nbsp;Edgecliff station</li> <li>an array of culture-focused&nbsp;well-being and social initiatives e.g. Personal Training, Book Club, complimentary pool and gym access, financial advice, confidential and independent EAP, access to Fitness Passport&nbsp;</li> <li>flexibility in hours (subject to timetable)</li> <li>a fantastic daily menu of lunches for a nominal fee</li> <li>professional learning -
