<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Classroom Education Support Officer (3-6)</p> <p><strong>Commencing:</strong>&nbsp;19/01/2026</p> <p><strong>Type:</strong> Fixed Term Contract</p> <p><strong>Hours of Work:&nbsp;</strong> 22.5 - 27 hours per week (negotiable for the right person) over 5 days term time only</p> <p><strong>Reports to</strong>: CLIC Coordinator&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>FTE Salary: </strong>Commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a passionate ESO who will hold close to the values of Cedar College as outlined in this document, and will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher, the Inclusive Learning Team and the Primary CLIC Coordinator.</p> <p><strong>Necessary Qualifications and Checks:</strong></p> <p>Certificate III in School-Based Education Support or higher (Desirable); a current Working with Children Check, Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and RRHAN-EC training (Responding to the Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training) prior to commencing employment at Cedar College.</p> <p><strong>DETAILS SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION:</strong></p> <p><strong>At Cedar College, we believe that children are created in the image of God and therefore are valued as unique and capable individuals, full of potential.</strong></p> <p>Our teachers and support staff are responsible for creating welcoming learning environments that are positive, supportive and engaging.
