St George Preca Parish Primary School has a current enrolment of 729 students and is in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. We are seeking a P-6 Mathematics Leader commencing at the beginning of the 2026 school year. If shortlisted, interviews will take place on Monday, October 27, 2025.

<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled leader who is committed to sustaining high-quality teaching, learning and assessment practices at St George Preca Primary School. A post-graduate qualification is desirable (or the willingness to undertake further study). Experienced Mathematics Teachers and Leaders are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>This is an important academic and leadership role within the school. The full-time allocation enables the leader to facilitate teacher planning, support classroom pedagogy and lead Mathematics throughout the school. The contract is an ongoing teaching position with a (POL 3 for a 3-year contract).&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Commitment to Catholic identity and missio</strong>n – Actively support and model the Catholic ethos and values within the school community</li> <li><strong>Expertise in mathematics curriculum and pedagogy</strong> – Demonstrated ability to lead high-quality, evidence-based mathematics programs across all year levels</li> <li><strong>Coaching and professional collaboration</strong> – Proven capacity to mentor teachers, facilitate team planning and strengthen shared instructional practice</li> <li><strong>Data-informed practice</strong> – Ability to analyse and interpret student data to guide teaching, intervention and continuous improvement</li> <li><strong>Interpersonal and leadership skills</strong> – Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and contribute positively to a collaborative team culture</li> </ul> <p>Please see the role description for further details.</p> <p>Applications are currently open and close on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
