This role is ideal for an experienced Technology and Applied Studies Teacher with a current qualification in VET Hospitality (Cookery). The successful candidate will create meaningful, industry-relevant learning opportunities and bring a passion for engaging students, a proven ability to design contemporary, challenging learning experiences, and a solid understanding of syllabus requirements. The primary purpose of this role is to nurture the gifts and talents of each student, ensuring that our Catholic practices and Mercy Values underpin all aspects of life in the school.<br><br><br><strong>What are we looking for?</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualifications relevant to teaching TAS and currency to deliver SIT20421 Certificate II in Cookery courses in NSW.</li>
<li>Proven experience teaching Stages 4-6 TAS.</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity to critically reflect on and adapt teaching practice to enhance student learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Ability to foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes effective student learning.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, administrative, and collaborative skills.</li>
<li>Flexibility and adaptability to meet the teaching needs of the College.</li>
<li>Commitment to actively supporting and participating in the life of the College, including its Catholic mission and Mercy values.</li>
<li>Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College (with no regular weekend sporting commitments).</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check clearance.</li>
<li>Accreditation with NESA.</li>
