<p>St. Patrick's is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a highly professional and collaborative working team for this classroom position. The position is for an initial period of twelve months for the 2026 school year, with the possibility of extension depending upon the school's staffing situation in the future.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant must:</p> <ul> <li>be committed to the Catholic ethos&nbsp;</li> <li>be accredited to teach Religious Education</li> <li>hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration</li> <li>be willing to actively contribute to and be part of school and parish life</li> <li>possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards ongoing professional learning</li> <li>be willing to work in a collaborative and co-operative learning team</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of the Science of Learning and how it informs effective, evidence based classroom practice</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of MAC's Vision for Instruction</li> <li>demonstrate purposeful use of technologies that enhance student engagement and learning.</li> <li>demonstrate a sound understanding of how to use data to inform and improve student learning in alignment with evidence based practices</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge of Structured Literacy within a Knowledge Rich Curriculum would be an advantage.</p>
