St Andrew's Primary School, seeks to employ a Deputy Principal & Wellbeing Support Leader or Deputy Principal & Religious Education Leader. The wellbeing or religious education portfolio is to be determined. St Andrew's School has an enrolment of 319 children. We are in the final stages of determining the portfolio among other leadership positions within the school.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with school principal to model effective leadership, develop staff pedagogical practices & foster professional excellence and collaboration.
As Wellbeing Support Leader, the successful applicant is to commited to the continuous improvement of wellbeing outcomes for all students and ensure wellbeing is enhanced, coordinated and responsive to students’ learning needs. This role will work in conjuction with the school's Wellbeing Leader. This role is to support elements to be determined from the wellbeing role description.

As Religious Education Leader, the successful applicant will be committed to the leading continuous improvement of faith formation and religious education across the school. This position will have responsibility for the coordination and leadership of the school’s liturgical and sacramental life, ensuring that all experiences reflect the Catholic identity and values of the community. The role will work in conjunction with the school’s leadership to ensure that students’ spiritual, emotional, and social wellbeing are nurtured and supported in an integrated and responsive way.
<p>St Andrew's Primary School is seeking a dynamic leader to leading and working with the school leadership, staff, students, parent and parish community. The successful applicant will embrace a shared role of Deputy Principal and a further portfolio to be determined: Religious Education Leader or Wellbeing Support Leader. The appointment will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2026. </p>

<p>This is an ongoing teaching position with the leadership role being a 3 year contract.</p>

<li>have relevant leadership experience across multiple portfolios within the last five years in Catholic parish primary schools, or current experience in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools</li>
<li>model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up from families from diverse social backgrounds</li>
<li>actively engage with students, staff and parents to promote a culture of learning and collaboration</li>
<li>work collaboratively with all others in the Catholic school community to strengthen and actively promote the Catholic Vision and Mission of the school and parish</li>
<li>provide an environment of inspiration, engagement and fun to the children in their care</li>
<li>have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education</li>

<li>VIT registration</li>
<li>a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).</li>
<li>adhere to our Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies</li>
<li>RE Accreditation </li>
<li>Master's Degree, or working towards obtaining a Master's Degree</li>
