<p>Maranatha Christian School, founded in 1970, delivers exceptional Christ-centred education across two campuses in Melbourne, with the motto “My Utmost for His Glory”.</p>
<p>It is a growing, independent, co-educational, non-denominational school with over 1,200 students in the Casey and Cardinia region.</p>
<p>One campus incorporates an ELC and Prep to Year 12 at Endeavour Hills. The campus at Officer caters for ELC to Year 6, expanding to secondary classes from 2027.</p>

<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong></p>
<p>An opportunity has arisen for an Education Support Teacher in our Junior Schools across both the Endeavour Hills and Officer Campuses. </p>
<p>Under the guidance of the Head of Education Support, the Education Support Teacher will work collaboratively with the junior school teachers, learning assistants, school leadership and other corresponding teams to enhance student outcomes. The role will provide support to class teachers and parents in preparing, monitoring and reviewing Individual Learning Plans. The Education Support Teacher will identify and support at-risk students with specific learning needs and design individualised and small group education programs. </p>

<p>Start of the Year, Term 1, 2026. </p>
<p><strong>TIME FRACTION</strong></p>
<p>Ongoing, Part Time Position Available. Days and hours to be discussed with candidates during the interview process.</p>
<p><strong>ABOUT THE PERSON</strong></p>
<p>The Education Support Teacher will have demonstrated a high level of competency in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and supporting students with special educational needs and preparing Individual Education Plans. Experience in preparing NCCD documentation would be advantageous.</p>
<p>The Education Support Teacher will be a role model on which students are able to pattern their lives as they prepare for a life of Christian service.</p>
