<p><strong>Curriculum Coordinator of Humanities (Years 7 &amp; 8)</strong></p> <p><i>Full-time (1.0FTE) | Ongoing Teaching Role</i></p> <p><i>Includes a 3-year Fixed-Term Leadership Appointment (0.16 FTE time release)</i></p> <p><i>Commencing Term 1, 2026</i></p> <p><br> The Geelong College invites applications from outstanding educators for the position of Curriculum Coordinator - Humanities (Years 7 &amp; 8). This is a key leadership role within the Middle School, with responsibility for the development and delivery of a high-quality Humanities program aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role includes a full-time teaching position and a three-year fixed-term leadership component, with 0.16 FTE time release.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <p>Applicants must demonstrate the following:</p> <ul> <li>Evidence of Right to Work in Australia</li> <li>Relevant educational qualification and experience in a similar teaching role&nbsp;</li> <li>Current Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registration</li> <li>Current Certifications in: <ul> <li>First Aid (HLTAID011)</li> <li>CPR (HTLAID 009)</li> <li>Asthma Management</li> </ul></li> <li>Completion of either: <ul> <li>The College's anaphylaxis training, or</li> <li>Accredited course: 22578VIC - Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis&nbsp;</li> </ul></li> </ul> <p><br><strong>To apply</strong></p> <p>Please address applications to Mr Simon Young, Principal, The Geelong College, and include:</p> <ul> <li>A current resume, and&nbsp;</li> <li>A letter of introduction detailing how your skills and experiences would align to the position and to The Geelong College Community.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday, 20 October 2025</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><i>Please note:</i>&nbsp;<i>applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews may commence prior to the closing date.
