St Vincent’s College is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Science Teacher.

<p><strong>ST VINCENT’S COLLEGE</strong></p> <p><strong>SCIENCE TEACHER</strong></p> <p><strong>Science Teachers – 2 roles, one Permanent Full-time , 1 Year Contract Full-time</strong></p> <p><strong>Position to start Term 1 2026</strong></p> <p><strong>Closing Date for Applications: 22 October 2025</strong></p> <p>St Vincent’s College is seeking to appoint a committed, professional and enthusiastic teacher qualified to teach Science. The ability to teach Chemistry to Stage 6 would be an advantage.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be an innovative Science teacher. They will demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work cooperatively with a committed and enthusiastic department. They will have a desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and in integrating evidence-based practices in the classroom. Strong communication skills and a commitment to growth focused learning for young women is necessary.</p> <p><strong>Key position criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Formal teaching qualifications in Science and eligibility to teach in NSW.</li> <li>Be knowledgeable about the NESA Science curriculum, familiarity with NSW Science syllabus, able to successfully implement the requirements to Year 12 level.</li> <li>Capacity to develop and implement engaging learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students, including high potential learners</li> <li>A commitment to promoting a culture of growth and achievement in the classroom by modelling a genuine passion for learning.</li> <li>Collaborative teaching and work practices.
