<p><strong>ST VINCENT’S COLLEGE</strong></p> <p><strong>TAS TEACHER</strong></p> <p><strong>Position to start Term 1, 2026, Full-time or Part-time</strong></p> <p><strong>Closing Date for Applications:&nbsp;22 October, 2025</strong></p> <p>St Vincent’s College is seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic teacher qualified to teach TAS subjects to fill a fixed term contract for 2026. The ability to teach Technology Mandatory is essential and an additional TAS subject is preferred. The role can be part time, or could be full time for a candidate with a second teaching area.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will have a commitment to education and to the discipline of Technology. They will demonstrate pleasure in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work cooperatively with a committed and enthusiastic department.&nbsp;They will have a desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and in integrating evidence-informed practices in the classroom. Strong communication skills and a commitment to growth focused learning for young women is necessary.&nbsp;We are seeking a teacher willing to learn and grow alongside their students and colleagues.</p> <p><strong>Key position criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualifications for and/or experience as a classroom teacher TAS teacher.</li> <li>Specialist skills in one or more TAS elective areas</li> <li>Experience and or willingness to guide students towards personal, social and technological competence in using Digital Technologies</li> <li>Promote a culture of growth and achievement in the classroom by modelling a genuine passion for learning.</li> <li>Be committed to continuous improvement and professional learning.</li> <li>Hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be eligible to teach in NSW</li> <li>Have a commitment to Catholic education, displaying a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic schools and the particular Mission and Vision of the College</li> <li>Hold a current Working with Children Check, be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of young people.</li> <li>Collaborative teaching and work practices.
