<p>St Clement of Rome Catholic Primary School, a vibrant and welcoming community in <strong>Bulleen</strong>, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated <strong>Performing Arts Teacher</strong> to inspire our students from Prep to Year 6. St Clement of Rome educates 456 students across 22 classes. We are looking for a teacher who will foster a love for music, drama, and movement in alignment with our school's Catholic ethos, guided by our motto, "Love One Another."</p>
<p><strong><u>The Role</u></strong></p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic teacher to lead and deliver our comprehensive Performing Arts program. The successful applicant will be responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Planning and implementing a stimulating and high-quality Performing Arts curriculum (Music, Drama, Dance) for all students (P-6).</li>
<li>Facilitating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to explore their creative potential.</li>
<li>Organising and directing school performances, productions, and assemblies, celebrating student talent with the wider community.</li>
<li>Integrating the Catholic faith and our school values into the Performing Arts program.</li>
<li>Collaborating effectively with staff to enhance whole-school events and learning experiences.</li>
<li>Assessing and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback for growth.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>About You</u></strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a teacher who possesses:</p>
<ul>
<li>A recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in teaching Performing Arts (Music, Drama, or Dance) at a Primary School level.</li>
<li>A willingness to drive the Performing Arts through Stage Productions.</li>
<li>A proven ability to establish <strong>positive, respectful, and trusting relationships</strong> with students, staff, and parents.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of current educational practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>A commitment to the Catholic identity and mission of St Clement of Rome School.</li>
<li>Accreditation to teach RE (Level 1) is preferred.</li>
