Wenona is seeking an inspiring, experienced Mathematics teacher to engage young women through dynamic teaching and a commitment to excellence.

<p>Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our Mathematics Department. We expect our teachers to be committed to their own professional development and to want to make a contribution to the broader educational community.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Inspire and engage students while contributing to a thriving academic program.</li> <li>Demonstrate outstanding professional practice, including curriculum differentiation.</li> <li>Apply contemporary pedagogy, with a strong focus on inquiry-based learning.</li> <li>Plan and deliver authentic assessment that informs teaching and learning.</li> <li>Commit to pastoral care and the wellbeing of students, especially girls and young women.</li> <li>Embrace collaboration, professional learning, and the use of ICT to enrich student engagement.</li> </ul> <p>This role is a permanent full-time position, with a Term 1 2026 start.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified, with experience in teaching Mathematics across Years 7-12. You will have a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum, and HSC assessment practices and marking processes. Experience in teaching or willingness to teach Mathematics Extension will be highly regarded. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders.
