<p>Kolbe Catholic College is a dynamic and expanding learning community, guided by our vision, <i>"Everyone Grows."</i> We invite applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Multi-Disciplinary Technician to join our St Catherine Campus.</p>
<p>This role plays a key part in creating safe, well-resourced environments that support practical learning across Science, Visual Arts, and Materials<strong> </strong>Technology, enabling students to engage confidently in hands-on activities.</p>
<p><strong>About the role</strong><br><br>
The Multi-Disciplinary Technician will</p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and maintain resources, equipment, and materials for practical lessons.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, risk assessments, and safety documentation.</li>
<li>Assist teachers during practical activities and supporting students as required.</li>
<li>Manage stock, inventory, and equipment maintenance across all faculties.</li>
<li>Support the documentation and display of student work for exhibitions, competitions, and classroom displays.</li>
<li>Other duties as required in line with operational needs and the employee’s skills.<br><br>

<p>This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing on 19 January 2026, primarily based at St Catherine Campus, with potential duties at other campuses as required.</p>
<p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant qualifications and/or experience in laboratory, art, or workshop support, ideally within an educational setting.</li>
<li>Understanding of WHS obligations and safe handling of chemicals, machinery, and hazardous materials.</li>
<li>Ability to work with diverse materials, tools, and equipment, including 3D printers.</li>
<li>Strong ICT, organisational, planning, and documentation skills.</li>
<li>High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Flexibility, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and Catholic values.</li>
<li>Optimism, and enthusiasm for student learning and school community engagement.</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.</li>
<li>First Aid Level Two certification.<br><br>
