They will;</p> <ul> <li>hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.</li> <li>demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children</li> <li>develop and maintain professional and caring relationships</li> <li>engage students in learning and facilitate best educational practice</li> <li>demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic church and school</li> <li>display strong interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>effectively work as part of a professional educative team</li> <li>demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Victorian curriculum and RE curriculum</li> <li>differentiate learning and make learning adjustments according to student needs</li> <li>actively involve themselves in personal learning</li> <li> <p>hold an accreditation or be willing to engage in accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.</p> <p>The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.</p></li> <li><strong>Please note:</strong> the interview process may commence prior to the closing date and, if a suitable applicant is found, the role may close early.
