<p>Applications are invited for this part-time, fixed-term position as a Specialist Teacher (LOTE - Italian) , which will commence on 27th January 2026.</p> <p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children.&nbsp; A Child Safety Code of Conduct is attached.</p> <p>The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified and demonstrate enthusiasm and skills to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities. We are looking for a teacher who can provide care and support for students while supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.</p> <p>The key selection criteria are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education.</li> <li>An ability to create and maintain a child-safe environment in which students feel safe.</li> <li>An ability to build positive relationships with all students and positive partnerships to engage families and the community.</li> <li>Strategies to cater effectively for a range of students’ learning needs and adjustments to differentiate learning tasks.</li> <li>Knowledge of a Language other than English, Victorian Curriculum 2.0 - Preferably in Italian (for continuity), but we open to other languages</li> <li>Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.</li> </ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ol> <li>As part of the application, please complete the attached <u>St Paul's&nbsp;Application for Employment</u> document.&nbsp;</li> <li>VIT registration is essential.</li> <li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or a commitment to undertake it.</li> <li>Please include three professional referees, including your past principals, with contact details and mobile phone numbers.</li> </ol>
