We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our passionate team take the lead in our vibrant K–12 extra-curricular music program. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in 2026 that comes with a leadership allowance.

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a growing and highly regarded independent co-educational Christian school with over 1,600 students from Pre-K to Year 12. RHAC encourages Christians involved in a church community to join our staff team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Ensembles</strong> <ul> <li>Conduct some ensembles.</li> <li>Coordinate rooming, staffing, scheduling and resource allocation for all music ensembles.</li> <li>Manage the purchasing, copying and distribution of sheet music in compliance with copyright laws.</li> <li>Lead our contracted ensemble conductors by providing clear feedback on repertoire selection, rehearsal technique and ensemble management.</li> <li>Oversee the induction process for new conductors and accompanists.</li> <li>Promote the College’s extra-curricular music program to current and prospective students and parents.</li> <li>Oversee the management of music resources.</li> <li>Compile and maintain information guides and handbooks.</li> </ul></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Music events and performances – Coordinate and be directly involved with the College’s annual music camps and workshops.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Individual student music tuition - Coordinate the opportunities the college provides for students to receive individual music tuition from an external tutor during the regular school day.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Teach some NESA curriculum music classes. The teaching allocation may vary from year to year based on the needs of the college.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Employment Contract</strong></p> <p>All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative &nbsp;Multi Enterprise Agreement 2025 (CMEA). The CMEA outlines teacher’s salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities. In addition to the base teaching salary, the appointee will be paid a leadership allowance which will be negotiated with the preferred applicant.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Child Safety</strong></p> <p>The College actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students and requires all prospective staff to be suitable and committed to protecting students from harm in the school environment.&nbsp; The College implements the&nbsp;<a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-12/g_CSS_GuidetotheStandards.pdf?Embed=Y" rel="nofollow">Child Safe Standards</a><u>&nbsp;</u>developed by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.&nbsp;All College staff receive annual training in Child Protection.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Professional Relationships</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaboration with the Head of Music (Senior School) and consultation with the Head of Junior School is a key part of this role.</li> <li>Practical support from a dedicated Music Admin Assistant.</li> <li>A member of the school executive will be the appointee’s team leader.
