At Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School children develop a passion for learning through quality teaching and a diverse range of learning experiences. Our Catholicism is expressed through the students, teachers and wider school community living and teaching Gospel Values, with our school motto being ‘Alive and Aware’.<br><br><strong>Specific Criteria</strong><br>
Principals are System Leaders in CSBB who are responsible, with support and accountability from other System Leaders, for the efficient operation of the CSBB school to which they are appointed as Principal.</p>
<p>Principals are critical to CSBB's 'Shaping Tomorrow, Together in Faith Strategy' of:</p>
<ul>
<li>Accompanying students, families and staff to know Christ and to grow in faith</li>
<li>Maximising the learning and growth of each student</li>
<li>Developing a collaborative culture of continuous improvement;</li>
<li>Building staff capabilities to enable student achievement and meet the needs and requirements of the School;</li>
<li>Implementing effective systems and processes at the School which amongst other things, fosters a culture of welcome and mutual accountability;</li>
</ul>
<p>These objectives are realised by doing the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leading a culture of safeguarding to keep our students safe;</li>
<li>Ensuring the delivery of curriculum and assessment;</li>
<li>Working to the <i>AITSL Australian Professional Standard for Principals and the Leadership Profiles</i>, as well as the CSBB Capability Framework;</li>
<li>Sustaining and growing student enrolments (to the extent that is within the School's financial plan;</li>
<li>Day to Day compliance by staff with policy and other legal requirements for their School identified by either NESA, and the NSW or Commonwealth Government or CSBB;</li>
<li>Ensuring with other System Leaders, the effective implementation of the CSBB Risk Management Framework at the School;</li>
<li>Engagement with other CSBB System Leaders and contribution to system initiatives, as required;</li>
<li>Consultation and engagement with the local Parish, staff and parents on the development of plans, programs and objectives for the School;</li>
<li>Incorporating fair and just practices in relation to staff an students; and</li>
<li>Any other matters reasonably required for the discharge of this operational role.</li>
