<p>Bellfield College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Independent Co-educational school, in Southwestern Sydney, educating young Australians in a nurturing and affirming community. <p>This is a full-time permanent position commencing in term 1, 2026. (Monday, 19 January) Generous remuneration will be offered above the published 2025/2026 CMEA rates.</p>
<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong> </p>
<p>Leader - School Operations and Timetable works with the Heads of College to provide key support in ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment. The Leader - School Operations and Timetable will ensure relief cover for absent teaching and non-teaching staff as required. They will coordinate the College Timetable each semester and manage changes in subject selections and teacher allocations throughout the year. The Leader - School Operations and Timetable will also play a key role in the management and coordination of EDVAL. </p>
<p>The successful applicant must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:</p>
<p>Teach one Senior School class as determined by the applicable timetable, or a comparable Junior School load (or equivalent). </p>
<ul>
<li>Appropriate educational qualifications/bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, and current NESA registration.</li>
<li>Ability to work with the Leadership Team to construct the timetable and arrange timetable adjustments as necessary throughout the year</li>
<li>Manage the routine administration of the K-12 School on a day-to-day basis.</li>
<li>Oversee the daily organisation and covers for absences (including organising Casual staffing) in the Junior & Senior School, and manage daily adjustments as required with staffing and rooming etc.</li>
<li>Evidence of a high level of interpersonal skills, a willingness to be an active member of a team and contribute to College outcomes/performance.</li>
<li>Extensive experience in the scheduling & coordination of school events.</li>
<li>Demonstration of very high personal and professional organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, manage the daily requirements and work on future administrative requirements/initiatives etc.</li>
<li>Appreciation of timetabling and scheduling complexities (academic timetable, examination scheduling, school events, NAPLAN, Minimum Standards, ICAS and Parent/Teacher interviews etc.)</li>
<li>Evidence of strong problem-solving capabilities regarding daily organisational challenges, be they in timetabling, unexpected absences, database issues, etc.</li>
<li>Experience in timetabling requirements and/or a willingness and capacity to learn the Edval timetabling package.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Role Expectations</strong></p>
<p>This position is expected to work the days/hours required to fulfil the different professional obligations and responsibilities of the role; these responsibilities may vary depending on the specific requirements of the term.</p>
<ul>
<li>The position requires the successful applicant to be available to staff early each day to successfully coordinate daily administrative requirements.</li>
<li>The position requires the successful applicant to be accessible during non-term time, (particularly mid-December and mid-January) to address reporting or timetable issues, staffing and provide support to Executive staff etc.</li>
</ul>
