Base salary ranges from $87,550 to $125,763</li> <li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li> <li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li> <li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li> <li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li> <li>generous Employee Referral Program</li> <li>walking distance to local train station, shops and cafes</li> <li>access to the College gym facilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br> As a <strong>HSIE Teacher</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br> The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates:</p> <ul> <li>experience teaching HSIE subjects and specifically Geography Stages 6</li> <li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in Sydney Catholic Schools (desirable)</li> <li>teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning styles</li> <li>engaging classroom practices that apply a range of effective, contemporary approaches to pedagogy in HSIE</li> <li>use of formative and summative assessment to drive student progress</li> <li>a data informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li> <li>support of the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li> <li>support of the College's educational initiatives and endorsement of innovation as outlined in our Strategic Plan</li> <li>willingness to participate in mentoring and training alongside peers and build strong professional relationships.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education, with relevant study in Geography</li> <li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
