This <strong>full-time</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Tuesday, 27 January 2026</strong>. <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As a <strong>Year Coordinator (2 Pt)</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective year coordinator who demonstrates:</p>
<ul>
<li>the ability to use student data effectively (e.g. attendance, behaviour, and academic patterns) to help monitor progress, identify emerging concerns, and support positive behaviour choices within the year group, in a manner consistent with Gospel values</li>
<li>an awareness of current student wellbeing issues such as attendance, mental health, and peer relationships, and the ability to provide appropriate support or referral to specialist services, while fostering a safe and caring environment grounded in Catholic faith and values</li>
<li>the capacity to apply creative and engaging approaches to motivate students, build a sense of belonging, and promote a positive year group identity that reflects the school's Catholic ethos</li>
<li>a commitment to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment that promotes a culture of effort, engagement and excellence, encouraging each student to achieve their potential as learners and people of faith</li>
<li>the ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic school environment, balancing the pastoral care needs of students with their own teaching responsibilities</li>
<li>the ability to work collaboratively with the school's Wellbeing Team, colleagues, and parents/carers, showing strong communication and partnership skills to ensure the best outcomes for students.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
