Applicants must be able to support the College’s Christian values and have a high level of comfort with change and be flexible and willing to be involved in a range of activities.</p> <p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br> The Student Services Coordinator will supervise the operations of the Student Services team. This is a position with significant responsibilities and high-level interactions between administration and teaching staff as well as students. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality are key components in carrying out this role.</p> <p><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; Director of Academic Operations<br><strong>Status and Hours:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; Full Time (Term Time), Permanent position<br> Office Hours are 7.30am – 3.30pm, although an understanding is required that the role will require greater hours than this, including attendance at full staff meetings held each term and other after hour events (with notice).<br><strong>Dress Code:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; An Oran Park Anglican College uniform is provided for this position.</p> <p>The Student Services Coordinator is responsible to the Principal through the Director of Academic Operations. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Create a positive and welcoming environment for students attending Student Services.</li> <li>Providing leadership of the administration staff in Student Services ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly.</li> <li>Liaising with parents/guardians, teachers, support and executive staff as necessary.</li> <li>Assist with wellbeing-related communication between the College and parents, including communication to parents and confidential record keeping when required.</li> <li>Support the service of the Anglicare Counsellors.</li> <li>Preparation for Casual teachers, including printing of day plans and classwork sheets, signing in/out of college laptops, keys/fobs and sign-in sheets.</li> <li>Manage any inbound telephone calls regarding Wellbeing issues if Wellbeing team members or Counsellors are unavailable.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of correspondence to parents, students and others as required, including mail merge and/or Edumate to send bulk emails, broadcasts to Parent App, and SMS messages to the College Community.</li> <li>Work with the Executive Assistants to the Deputy Principals to co-ordinate student academic reports and distribution.</li> <li>Assisting with inputting and maintain the Edumate data system including student records, parent contact information, medical records, learning records, student reports and awards.</li> <li>Review rolls and assist with attendance maintenance/analysis as required by the Deputy Principals.</li> <li>Support and assist in the coordination of events for Junior and Senior School as requested, including event communications, Trybooking set up (if applicable), catering, serving and planning of events as required including (but not limited to):<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o&nbsp;&nbsp; Wellbeing Sessions<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o&nbsp;&nbsp; Year 6 Dinner<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o&nbsp;&nbsp; Debating<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o&nbsp;&nbsp; Mother’s Day/Father’s Day events</li> <li>Oversee the administration of approved College VTR’s, including the finalisation of event details in Edumate, communication of events with parents/carers and following up permissions. This also includes all aspects of student travel to/ from College for events - liaising with the transport companies and keeping up to date with any changes to transport procedures and routes.</li> <li>Oversee the annual collection of student data as outlined in the College Handbooks.</li> <li>Collaborate with the College Nurse to provide first aid treatment and supervision of students attending sick bay as required.</li> <li>Administer medication to students, which is supplied by parents/guardians as required.</li> <li>Regular meetings with Director of Academic Operations to assist with any upcoming activities / events that need to be organised.</li> <li>Attending College functions as required with notice.</li> <li>Performing any duties as is required by the Principal or her nominees from time to time.</li> <li>Working collaboratively, establishing rapport and maintaining effective working relationships with students, parents and staff of the College community.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Professional and Personal Attributes</strong><br> The Student Services Coordinator must have the capacity to work in a dynamic school environment to provide administrative support to the Student Services team. Essential criteria for this role include:</p> <ul> <li>A committed Christian and an active member of a church.</li> <li>Understanding of and ability to contribute to the vision and mission of Oran Park Anglican College.</li> <li>Warm, welcoming and friendly personality able to empathise with members of the College community with a high degree of confidentiality.</li> <li>Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced school office environment.</li> <li>Computing skills including the use of internet and email and the ability to utilise MS Outlook, Word, Excel.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required.</li> <li>Customer service and administration experience.</li> <li>First Aid qualifications including CPR and anaphylaxis training.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong><br><strong>References:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; Provide three (3) referees one of whom should be the Minister of the Christian community you serve within, who can support your application.<br><strong>Salary:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; In accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.<br><strong>Child Safety:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; Oran Park Anglican College is committed to child safety.
