<p>Pittwater House is seeking a passionate and motivated <strong>Assistant Faculty Coordinator</strong> to join our <strong>HSIE Faculty</strong> from the commencement of the 2026 school year. This is a permanent, full-time role at <strong>Leadership Level 1</strong>, designed to provide support to the Faculty Coordinator in the leadership and management of the department.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic <strong>Economics specialist</strong>, with the ability and willingness to teach across other HSIE subjects, including Business Studies, Commerce, and related areas. They will demonstrate subject mastery, a strong understanding of NESA curriculum requirements, and the capacity to engage students through innovative and evidence-based practice.</p> <p>In addition to their teaching load, the Assistant Faculty Coordinator will:</p> <ul> <li>Act as delegate for the Faculty Coordinator in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership;</li> <li>Contribute to faculty professional learning and mentoring of colleagues;</li> <li>Take leadership of designated operational areas such as assessment, programs, excursions and digital learning platforms;</li> <li>Support effective communication with students, parents and colleagues; and</li> <li>Assist the Coordinator in implementing the Faculty’s strategic goals to enhance student learning and engagement.</li> </ul> <p>All staff contribute to the School’s pastoral care and co-curricular programs (note: no Saturday sport).
