<p><strong>Location:</strong> Magdalene Catholic College, Narellan</p> <p>A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing 27 January 2026 until 10 August 2026.&nbsp; The successful applicant will be required to teach subjects within the TAS &amp;, if qualified, VET Faculties.</p> <p>The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in various TAS subjects across all stages.</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Aptitude and willingness to contribute to the broader life of Magdalene Catholic College whilst supporting the TAS Faculty and what it offers the College.</li> <li>Qualified and enthusiastic to teach various TAS subjects e.g. Stage 4 Technology Mandatory, Stage 5 Industrial Technology Timber, ability to deliver Certificate II Cookery.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li> <li>Strong organisational skills</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching a variety of courses across the TAS &amp; VET Faculties.</li> <li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.&nbsp;</li> <li>The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p><strong>Closing Date: 20 October 2025 at 9am&nbsp;</strong></p>
