<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>
<p><i>To successful applicant will:</i></p>
<ul>
<li>Hold a valid teaching qualification and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum in the Junior Primary years.</li>
<li>Experience in planning and delivering high-quality Junior Primary programs, with a focus on English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, and the Arts.</li>
<li>Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of students of differing ability levels.</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of an independent/private school, along with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.</li>
<li>To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.</li>
<li>To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.</li>
<li>Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.</li>
<li>Work to ensure personal best practice.</li>
<li>Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.</li>
<li>Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.</li>
<li>Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.</li>
<li>Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.</li>
<li>First Aid certificate is desirable.</li>
<li>Working With Children Card.</li>
</ul>
