We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Chemistry / Science Teacher with a strong academic background to join and lead our highly successful Science Faculty. This is a full-time, temporary (maternity leave) position for 2026. This role carries a 2 point coordinator allowance.<br><br><strong>Position Highlights</strong><br><br>

<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As the Leader of Learning - Science you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>
To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>support the mission and ethos of the Catholic School in the Clarion and Franciscan traditions</li>
<li>show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>use creative and innovative teaching practices to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigor</li>
<li>exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and show the ability to integrate these to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li>
<li>be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively</li>
<li>be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning</li>
<li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Chemistry. The ability to teach STEM would also be advantageous</li>
<li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li>
<li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.</li>

<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li>
