<ul> <li>Full time, Fixed Term Middle Leadership role, 4 years (+4), starting January 2026</li> <li>Develop best practice in learning support across the College</li> <li>Middle Leader Tier 3, $144,259 + 12.75% Superannuation</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>As the Program Leader – Inclusive Education, you will be responsible for ensuring our students are learning, growing, and flourishing together, accepting the unique gift of each individual.&nbsp; Inclusive Education at our college reflects our EREA Touchstones where every student has the right to be included in our College educational setting.&nbsp; Working in collaboration with the Inclusive Education team and Faculty Leaders you will develop best practice in our teaching approaches to ensure genuine and valued full participation of students.</p> <p><strong>About the contract</strong></p> <p>The position is<strong> full time, fixed term, 4 years (+4), starting January 2026</strong></p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>To be considered for this role you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Valid working rights within Australia.</li> <li>Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.</li> <li>Be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.</li> <li>Professional qualifications in Education.</li> <li>Willingness to achieve Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School or Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education).</li> <li>Willingness to support and participate in the prayer, liturgy and sacramental life of the Church in the school community.</li> <li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Ignatius Park College.</li> <li>Willingness to support the co-curricular program.</li> <li>Excellent classroom practitioner with extensive knowledge of boy-friendly pedagogy.</li> <li>Strong people management skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage conflict constructively and a willingness to challenge poor performance in staff.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Good administrative and organisational skills.</li> <li>Capability to inspire others to a shared vision.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About our Organisation</strong></p> <p>Ignatius Park College is an all-boys Independent Catholic secondary school located in Townsville, North Queensland catering for approximately 950 boys from Years 7-12.&nbsp; The College is a member of the Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) network of 55 schools across Australia.&nbsp; Ignatius Park College has a tradition of academic, cultural, sporting, spiritual and personal excellence by providing the highest standards of staff, facilities and opportunities for students in a caring Christian environment.
