<p>St Brigid's is located in the Yarra Valley region, only 20 minutes from Lilydale and 10 minutes from Yarra Glen. The current enrolment of 274 students across 14 classes from Prep to Year 6 enables us to offer high quality programs and small class sizes. We are seeking a suitably qualified teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner, familiar with the Victorian Curriculum, who is able to collaborate with others as part of a level team, working towards improving learning outcomes for all students.</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p> <p>• Demonstrate commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students</p> <p>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents</p> <p>• Supportive behaviour management practices</p> <p>• Strong understanding and working knowledge of contemporary learning and how to positively impact student learning</p> <p>• Demonstrate an openness and commitment to ongoing professional growth</p> <p>• Possess the capacity to inspire and nurture students in fostering a lifelong love of learning<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements:</strong></p> <p>• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching</p> <p>• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School or a commitment to complete this in the next five years as per the MACS Accreditation Policy</p> <p>• Commitment to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices</p> <p>• At least three referees of which one must be a current employer/Principal.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
