This is a fantastic chance to grow your leadership experience while making a real difference in a supportive and collaborative environment. In the two year coordinator role, you may be required to undertake some on-class teaching responsibilities.</p> <p>As a <i>Leader of Learning &amp; Wellbeing,</i> you will lead and collaborate with a team of specialists including teachers, teacher's aides, school therapists, coordinators, administrators and other Aspect staff to deliver our evidence-informed, student-focused autism-specific approach. Use a person-centred and family-focused approach to ensure the delivery of quality educational standards. As a core member of the school's Learning Support Team (LST), you will lead and supervise the teaching team and partner parents, carers, and other members of the school community.</p> <p>In 2026 our satellites classes will be based at Eastwood, Lane Cove and St Ives. You may be required to work at any of these sites as a teacher, and may oversee some or all of the satellite classes in your role as a coordinator, and therefore must be able to travel to these sites on any given day if student or staff support is needed. Our dedicated Educators are transforming the landscape of autism education, paving the way for brighter futures and boundless opportunities for our students.</p> <p><strong>About the School:</strong></p> <p>Aspect Vern Barnett School provides placement for approximately 105 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 16 years from Forestville, as well as from 5 satellite classes within the Catholic and Department of Education Schools in Sydney’s northern suburbs.
