Loreto Toorak is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer to join our team. This role will primarily focus on assisting students in the Senior School. This full-time, ongoing position will commence Term 1, 2026.

This role will primarily focus on assisting students in the&nbsp;Senior School, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This full-time, ongoing position will commence Term 1, 2026.&nbsp;</p> <p>Responsibilities of the role will include:</p> <ul> <li>Support teachers in creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment by applying a range of teaching styles and approaches tailored to individual student needs</li> <li>Collaborate with teachers and the Head of Learning Diversity to implement curriculum strategies that effectively support diverse learners</li> <li>Allocate appropriate time for lesson preparation and organisation, as requested by teaching staff</li> <li>Demonstrate familiarity with professional standards as outlined in the&nbsp;Australian Professional Standards for Teachers&nbsp;and, where applicable, the&nbsp;Catholic Education Commission of Victoria (CECV)</li> <li>Confidently integrate&nbsp;ICT into learning support practices</li> <li>Communicate with parents through approved channels, providing timely and meaningful feedback on student progress</li> <li>Adhere to all&nbsp;Occupational Health and Safety (OH&amp;S)&nbsp;policies and procedures</li> <li>Foster positive and professional relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community</li> <li>Liaise with relevant support staff including the Learning Diversity team and Library staff to ensure effective curriculum delivery and student support</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working as an Integration Aide/Classroom Assistant/Learning Support Officer</li> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded</li> <li>Experience supporting senior school students with individual learning needs</li> <li>Ability to build, establish and maintain relationships</li> <li>A collaborative approach with colleagues</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Excellent time management and organisational skills</li> <li>Demonstrated desire to apply a growth mindset to professional development</li> <li>A current Working with Children Check (employee)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why work at Loreto Toorak?</strong></p> <p>Joining Loreto Toorak means joining a supportive, inclusive and collaborative community.
